For more than 20 years, Susan G. Komen for the Cure has made great progress in the fight to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. The generosity of our donors is vital as we continue our efforts to help breast cancer patients today and invest in the health of future generations.

About personal giving

Breast cancer remains the most common form of cancer among women living in the United States. More than 200,000 individuals will be diagnosed this year and 40,000 will die from this disease. And because no one knows exactly what causes breast cancer, there are no sure ways to prevent it. Research remains critical not only to the treatment of the disease, but to its prevention as well.

It is only through the generous support of our donors that we are able to make great strides in the fight against breast cancer. Your generosity is what allows us to fulfill our mission and affect so many lives. We need your help because we rely primarily on individual gifts.
